Boudoir FAQ

How do I book a session? In order to provide the absolute best experience, with the best lighting, and the best backdrop, I recommend booking one of my on-location boudoir sessions, which I offer 3x/year (I hope to soon offer them monthly!). This allows me to rent a beautiful space and welcome 3-4 clients throughout the day, and it provides YOU with an absolutely ideal space for your session. If having your session in your own home is important to you, please let me know, and we can schedule this at your leisure. Please specify in the contact form below which of my offered dates would work. If none work for you, reach out and let’s see what we can do!

How much should I expect to pay? *My prices will be increasing next year, so fair warning! I want this session to be FUN and not stressful, which is why I have ZERO add-on fees after your session. This means that unlike many photographers, you will not be shelling out hundreds of dollars for prints after your session. I charge $650 for a one-hour boudoir session, which includes…drumroll…FREE DIGITALS. Yes, you read that right. You will receive all of your edited photos (anywhere from 40-60 images) for FREE via a 30-day password-protected online gallery. You have an option, of course, to order high quality prints through the gallery, but you are also free to just download and print them on your own.

What about privacy? Have you noticed that I have no identifiable photos on my website or socials (except for one self portrait)? Your privacy and safety is my top priority! Your photos will be online for 30 days, in a password-protected gallery, archived in that gallery for 60 days, and then deleted from the online storage space I have. When it comes to my website and social media, I will not post any images from your session that show your identity without your permission first. If it is important to you that NONE of your images be shared, I am happy to agree to that.

I’m too self-conscious for this. If this session is anything less than FUN and confidence-building, then I’ve failed. TRUST me, you can totally do this, and I will coach you every step of the way. You should never feel a need to “perform;” I can tell you exactly where to tilt you head, where to look, etc. You don’t even have to wear lingerie — Wear what makes you feel like YOU. Giant t-shirts, swimsuits, or a sexy crop top and shorts are the perfect alternative get-up for a beautiful and sexy boudoir session. I will NOT pressure you to take off any more than you are comfortable with! As for body image concerns, I GET IT. But also, are you a woman? Then you are BEAUTIFUL. And I’m literally a professional at bringing out that beauty. I really believe you won’t be disappointed if you trust me and take the leap!

How naked can I get? For those of you who are abundantly confident ;) We will keep panties on throughout the session, but if you’re comfortable with a few topless photos, that’s fine with me! No pressure, as always. You can be as covered or uncovered as you like.

Can I bring toys/accessories? These photos are meant to express a beautiful, feminine, intimate, and playful side of you. I’m probably not the photographer for you if you prefer a more edgy/BDSM vibe, and I am not comfortable photographing masturbatory acts.

Do you offer couples boudoir sessions? No, but I’m happy to share a few photography tips for the two of you to have fun on your own ;)
