What this is:
Traditional school portraits, but like, way better.
What this is not:
This is not a family session or a mini session. Please expect a very efficient setting with just 2-4 photos taken of each child/sibling group. Outfit changes/multiple poses are not conducive to this particular setting.
Who is eligible for these photos?
This photoshoot is open to any homeschool students under the age of 18.
Can I sign up my special needs child?
A HEARTY YES.
Can I take pictures on my phone while the photographer shoots?
A friendly “Nope.”
How do I sign up?
Follow the link below the FAQ (keep scrolling down) to sign up your children for their homeschool portrait! Each family only needs to sign up for one slot. You do NOT need individual sign ups for each child.
How long is each portrait session?
I will take 2-4 images of each child/sibling group, which should only take a minute or two. You should expect 1 edited portrait of each child/sibling group.
Will you include a sibling picture?
Yes, absolutely! After taking individual portraits, I will pose the siblings with each other for one group shot. Please let me know during your session if this is not something you want.
Can I step in for a photo with my child?
Unfortunately, I’m not including parents in these photoshoots in the interest of time management.
Can we include any props or our family pet in the photos?
Unfortunately, I am not including any sort of styled shoot or extra family members in these photoshoots, so no pets, extended relatives, or props.
How do I get my photos after the session?
Portraits will be posted at https://lizardnickel.shootproof.com/homeschool on May 12th, 2023. You will be able to download the images for $20 each, and you will also have the option to order physical prints from the gallery. The prints are very high quality, but if you’d rather print on your own, you can do so after purchasing your $20 downloaded image. PLEASE BE AWARE that all photos taken on the 14th will be uploaded to the same gallery, so your child’s portrait will be visible to anyone who has the link listed above. The gallery will be deleted on June 12th, one month after it opens.
What if I don’t like my images?
If you are unhappy with your images, you certainly don’t have to purchase any downloads. The shoot is free, so no harm done if you change your mind.
